I would say it's not hard to do, at all, but.... ATV plastics are bigger than what could easily fit in a tub. You can buy a "dip kit", or all the items you need off ebay (the "activator", and the film). The spray paint they give you is just a normal paint that you can buy at walmart. Believe me, this shit is super simple. If you have a container big enough, doing the plastics would also be easy, just need a big enough container.
Also, sorry... another way to go if you have a spray gun, is to get colored plasti-dip. The shit really lasts when it is put on a clean surface, and let to cure. You can also just peel it off when you decide to change colors. My cousin did this with his MR2, and it lasts (when done right), and doesn't peel off unless you really try to take it off. I've decided that I'm doing this to our Volvo when I have the time and money to get my own spray gun.

I had a big tub that would easily fit the plastics. It is a big container used as an outdoor fish pond. Is it just water they fill it with and lay the film in?
