You are spot on about her, and the Left's lopsided views of gun control. I agree that sick-os are to blame and not guns. I am as passionate as anyone about ANY politician stepping on our 2nd amendment rights, I'm just not sure I agree with her being harmed, even by a psycho. Gabby is only an anti-gun figurehead now that she is unable to formulate completed sentences. Unable to construct more than 3 sensible words together the other anti-gunners use her as a true pawn. "Gabby... you smile in the background and we'll speak on your behalf."

Personal attacks on a sympathetic figure like Gabby will not win friends or change minds. For us 2A supporters, we know how she is being used and manipulated by the political class on the left. However, if we are going to bring more people to our side and win the long-term battle then we need to elevate our game and stay focused on the principles of freedom, liberty and Self government. The personal attacks make us look small, angry and heartless. Truth is, 2A supporters are the opposite and it benefits us to recognize her physical suffering at the hand of an armed lunatic and work to ensure the acts of a tiny and literally crazy minority do not jeopardize the 2A for us all.

Well said, BPTactical. I agree.
And I would disagree that these are personal acts on Gabby (the drool and lisp comment excepted). They are directed right at her actions and motives.
If that is off limits, well...I don't know where you can go from there.
