Yeah, the Dem majority in the Senate is willing to let it happen over severely damaged legislation. Sounds rough, but as a taxpayer, I'm tired of being bent over for wasteful government programs where the ruling elite create a waiver for themselves. Congress should not be able to pass any law that doesn't equally apply to themselves.

The ones holding people hostage are Obama and Reid because of their insistence on funding a program that was passed via extortion, lies and bribes by ramming it down the throats of citizens and legislators alike despite obvious flaws, despite the fact it is fiscally irresponsible and legally contentious, and despite the fact it has been overwhelmingly opposed by the American public for the last 5 years.
