I am guessing you are talking about the svea stoves. If so, yes they are much lighter and much more compact another added benefit to top it off is you do not have the loud hiss other stoves make.Quote:

You should try a "Cat-Stove." Tis made out of a cat-food can and a tuna can. You should be able to find plans for it on the net. I use one. They are supposed to be the best. I had a cook-off, against my propane stove, and it beat my propane stove.
They are easy to make and the only thing that you need is two old cans and some insulation.
