And this latest shenanigan ain't helpin' them.
I've done some looking into this, and I wish it could backfire, but with the stupidity of the american voter, the senate will more than likely stay in the hands of the dems...
Just wait till the tables are turned. Then they will scream abuse of power.
Appears the dems are getting fed up with being blocked and are feeling lucky.
Glenn Beck had excerpts from a 2008 interview with Harry Reid stating that he thinks the "Nuclear Option" is wrong and as long as he is in power will never be done again... lo and behold, here we are, just a few short years later HE is that guy doing the exact thing he promised wasn't going to be done... If that is not a clear cut case of "typical liberal (or politician) hypocrisy" someone please point out a clearer example, I really cannot. [facepalm]
Kind of like his boss?
From the mouth of BHO, March 2006:
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure.
It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, 'the buck stops here.'
Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.
America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership.
Americans deserve better."
Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006
