I agree!! I'm all for LEGAL immigration. Having grown up along the US / Mexico border for 23 yrs, I've never seen so many illegals pissing and moaning because they weren't getting "what was owed" to them. I've even had the pleasure of delivering several "anchor babies" when I worked down there. Nothing like watching a pregnant woman waddeling for the border, waiding across the Rio Grande and calling 911 cuz she's gonna drop a kid within minutes. . . Now that shit pissed me off to no end!! [Bang] [Rant1]
**Note: FYI - anchor baby = illegal alien dropping a lil bandito / lil Al Qaeda / or lil (insert witty remark) on US soil to automatically be safeguarded from deportation. Not that any of you didn't already know this. . .
Do "anchor babies" taste like chicken?
Because this has become such a widespread problem, I feel that the U.S. immigration policy and "citizen" status needs to be changed.
My solution:
Any child born in this country to parents who are not LEGAL citizens will be provided with a birth certificate and the child and parents will be shipped back to their country of origin. Once the child reaches the age of 18 they have 180 days to find their way to a U.S. Embassy with their birth certificate and declare their intention to claim U.S. citizenship (NO dual citizenships allowed). Once the necessary paperwork is completed, their birth certificate verified along with verification within a national database, they will have 14 days to gather their personal belongings and LEGALLY cross the border - ALONE. They will not be permitted to bring parent, spouses, siblings, or anyone else with them. Once they are established here in the U.S. they can work through the Dept of ICE to apply to bring a (documented) spouse &/or children to the U.S. legally - with the requirement that the spouse &/or children will have to apply to and successfully complete the requirements for becoming a naturalized citizen. Anyone (including the birth certificated "anchor baby" & their spouses/children) found to have been convicted of felony level violent crimes or drug related crimes would be denied citizenship.
All citizenship tests will be in ENGLISH - ONLY! Anyone who fails the citizenship tests can apply for a 1 time 6 month extension to stay in the U.S. and retake the citizenship test. Failing to successfully pass the citizenship test a second time within the 6 month period will result in automatic/immediate expulsion from the U.S. If the "anchor baby" citizen chooses to be with that individual they have the right to permanently denounce their citizenship and return to their country of origin with their spouse/children (all). Any pending citizenship applications for other members of that immediate family would be cancelled as the "sponsor" would no longer be a citizen.
There would be no right of appeal and no right of litigation.
