Canon City School Suspends 6 Year Old For Kissing Classmate

Common sense people!! common sense!!
Let's try not to make any more stupid news. I think ethics and common sense should be part of core classes for education degree.

All I can say is it is a good thing my kids are longer in school.

Ya know... I got in trouble for the same thing back in the day... Except I was 5. Mom came in ready for bear and asked me what I was doing...... I simply said "What they are doing" and pointed to the picture of two kids kissing on a park bench sitting behind the principle. They let me stay....the principle lost a few pounds of ass to my mom.

Apparently this is the second time the boy kissed the girl. If it was a boy kissing a boy I'm sure everything would be fine....you just can't be fucking normal any more

So stupid. First off, the little girl likes him back- according to the boy's mother- and it's all harmless childhood romance. What's worse- I'm sure it was the school- is that young Hunter now thinks he did something wrong. Is this how we want our kids to grow up? Harmless kissing is wrong? Now the kid could grow up with the fear that anytime he gives more than the "usual" attention to a girl, he'll get in trouble. So stupid. Let kids be kids. Had the girl complained and not wanted it, that would be a different story.

Supposedly? Great! Conflicting stories... The mom was on 9News last night talking about what happened, and she flat out said, using the ever cliche "air quotes" that her son and this girl were "boyfriend and girlfriend." I made sure to keep in mind that there are always 3 sides to every story- his side, her side, and the truth. I would like to see the media actually get to the truth, but I won't hold my breath, asphyxiation is a horrible way to go. [Beer]
