ducks are yummy...only got 1 of the 3. The ice was not worth a damn on our lake and with the wind, i didn't want to send the dog on scum ice...no geese period today, nothing even looked at our lake...

Damn I've been busy, haven't had a lot of time to post in anything except some updates here...So we ended the season with 213 birds out of our blind. A far cry from our good years of 500+. A lot of this has to do with the competition around our lake, but closing weekend was of the days of old. Got my first triple on Sunday, 4 birds came in, 1 broke for the south side where my dad got him and i dumped the 3 that came to the north side. Any how, saturday was a 25 count, and sunday was a 10 count. Sunday hunt only had 11 shells sent down range. Best for the old man and I...Any how, here's some pics. My favorite is when we got home on Sunday. Dog was whooped and she DID NOT want to get out of her box...getting all those birds made her sore.
