Irish - well said. I'm not prostelitizing here but I know that my Faith in God and my love of my family is what get's me through the day and gives me the strength and courage to get up again tomorrow and do it all over again.
Those of you with kids will probably be nodding your heads to this next statement. I remember when my kids were young and thinking about how great it would be when they were older and I didn't have to worry about them anymore. It's been just the opposite. Every time they go out the door I think about all of the sicko's in the world and pray that my kids don't cross paths with any of them. I worry more about my kids now that they are 17 (son) and 20 (daughter) than I did when they were young.
One person at a time trying to make a difference CAN make that difference. I encourage all of you to not only reach out to those you care about and let them know how you feel about them, but sometime this week practice at least 1 selfless and random act of kindness for a stranger (don't put yourself at risk to do this though).
