I like the "I carry a .45" one to make people laugh. But on a more serious note, I love the .45

Though not on the list, I really hate "An armed society is a polite society". I used to like it, until I realized that the antis understand it bass ackwards.
The way we understand it is because you carry a gun, it means that an encounter can end up with having to take a life -- absolutely the last thing you want to do. Therefore you're polite, back down from confrontation, etc.
The antis take it to mean that everyone's so scared to death of being shot over some small infraction (after all, people who carry are plugging people all the time, after all, the news carries stories about shootings every night) that you're polite because the other guy might be carrying and you're afraid of being shot.
So when you use that phrase with an anti, it only reinforces their misconception of gun owners.
