Chicago school official troubled over No Gun Sign because there is an image of a gun in it

I don't know what they're worried about. By the time they're old enough to go a-banging, most CPS students have dropped out anyway.

Besides, the average CPS student couldn't read a decal that said "No Guns" in English.

I'm quite sure the the IL law specifically prohibits schools, it blocks most every public place, so the sign is redundant. The federal law does have a state level override though.
