I'd memorize the sign and hang something similar in the windows of businesses that I didn't like later. "We did NOT hang that sign up!"
"Sure pal, tell it to Yelp."

He/She wanted attention. He/She got it!
Lots of attention on Yelp. :)
Sounds like open carry is just fine... No big deal.
Where is that? All I saw was "Clemson", no idea where that is.
Let me guess, a few patrons drink enough courage and go all rambo. Pub owner gets tired of the 5th grade mentality and puts a sign up. Sign goes viral and there is lots of butt hurt.
What are the laws concerning drinking in a bar and CC?
I agree with "it is a private business and they should be able to ban what they want for their own store" 100% because the free market should decide but i can not ban a Black, a Hispanic, a gay, an Indian, an Asian, a Woman, a Man, an Arab, Etc Etc from doing business with me (not that i would personally). I understand that all men are created equal but i do not understand how our Bill of rights takes a second seat, when it is the law of the land, in our current state of affairs. I think having a gun free zone is unlawful and should be treated the same as discrimination at the least and any store and owner in violation should be brought up on charges. What i see here is unexceptionable and we need to try our best from allowing it to happen. If we allow the current status quo to keep gaining momentum we are just allowing our right to be over turned.
The laws on having a CCW while drinking in a bar differ from county to county across the states however, as i understand it, even having a drink or two could legally lead you to garbing the short straw having to use it or not. Be careful.
I'll play devil's advocate here. I think the idea is that race, gender, and sexual orientation are dynamics that you have 0% control over or decision in being a part of. There's absolutely nothing they can do about it, so to alienate them on the grounds of a fraternity that they have no say in being a member of is faulty.
The problem with that, of course, is that alienating gun owners who make a choice to legally carry on the grounds of someone else's actions (criminals who aren't of the same fraternity, no less) is no better. It's really stupid deductive reasoning and belittles the competency of adults.
"Please rob us. You will meet no resistance other than name calling."
His business, his rules......
What's that your honor? I HAVE to make a "wedding" cake for a couple of fellas?
Yup, your business, your rules unless it serves an agenda.
Personally I could care less if the owner posted a "No CC" sign.
But in typical angry liberal fashion he has to be a condescending prick to those that don't share his views.
May he ride the shitstorm he brought upon himself.
