That neighborhood has about 1-2 shootings a year. My daughter does summer school over there and spent most of her life before kindergarten over there as well. I have had street urchins flash gang signs and "hand" guns like they were shooting at me while driving over there.
For the most part it is okay, and from what I understand, "recovering," but there are for sure shit bags living here.

Testosterone and stupidity is a bad combination. Add firearms and you get situations like this. Really? You're gonna pursue, follow, and confront some asshole over trash dumping that didn't even occur on your property? Someone just got a failing score on the IQ test.

I live in Thornton, but there are lots of weirdos at Northglenn and South Thornton area. I've been cussed, yelled and threatened few times.
This guy wanted to kick my ass and cussing in front of his own grandchildren. I just took his photograph and his license plate.
