The sad part is the article I read said
"Despite the uptick in violence this weekend, Chicago police say recent statistics show the number of shootings and homicides are down overall for the year."

...and no doubt the weapons used were all stolen or illegally obtained (Except those used by the police, of course)

What "law" is going to strip these illegal weapons from their (most likely) illegal possessors?

Read the article. The headline they put up is complete bullshit propaganda. Should read " stricter laws for gun violations " He says one of the criminals has something like 21 priors.

Perfect example of real criminals don't care about tacking on another misdemeanor onto the rap sheet. All they care about is that the majority of the populace is unarmed so they can get away with the crimes they are perping.

This CNN report will really piss you off. The Chicago dickweed is crying for stricter gun laws but fully admits the problem is that criminals are being let out of jail too easy. Priests call for more prayer, lawyers call for more laws. Most politicians are lawyers. People go with what they know regardless of the lack of logic behind their calls.

I hope someone lets us know when Chicago is as rough as Afghanistan. Then we can start open carrying long guns.
