can someone explain this to me?Quote:
Additionally, the explosive that creates the energy to fire the gun occurs in the fixed shell of a shotgun rather than the metallic cartridge of a rifle.
Am I missing something, or was the article showing that "evil black rifles" aren't as evil as usually portrayed?
The last two paragraphs seemed to imply that rifles and high capacity magazines account for very few murders.
Who would've thought a common type of firearm would've been in the Top 5 most common types of firearms used in a crime involving a firearm used as a weapon. What an eye-opening article.
Well, I think they covered about every type of gun minus the bolt action.

I don't care who called that journalist a dumbshit, I want to know who called that dumbshit a journalist.
Writer should be embarrassed and humiliated for a piece that is so poorly written that I almost felt embarrassed reading it.
A lack of any knowledge so obvious that other anti gunners called her on it.
Pissed that I wasted time on it.
Really pissed that I felt the need to comment on it. [facepalm] [gohome]

Somebody probably beat me to it (I haven't read all the comments), but word on the street is that for her tireless, hard-hitting journalistic research on this article, Kristen Gwynne has been nominated for a "Certificate of Participation"!
