Anyone else hate Strobe-mode with a passion? I feel like I'm a couple flashes away from my first epileptic seizure. And in an HD situation, it would probably confuse and distract me more than an intruder.

They're great little lights. I've had great flashlights, Microstreams, 4Sevens, etc. that have corroded and died within months. I'm done spending good money on flashlights.

For $.350 I'll it. Its going to sit in a safe.... It wont take tons of abuse so I see it as a win win.

The redline nebo is trash don't bother. I get these issued to me at work there not worth the a dang. If your going to give to wife to cheap with concealed spend a little and get a quality light please.

The CREE LEDs, the ones at Costco, the Duracell ones, the ones on Amazon, etc. all use the same Diode. and they are very bright. They can be driven with batteries from 1 to 13 volts and vary from about 100 to 1500 lumens. I've been beating the crap out of them on shotguns, in trucks, on ARs, in range bags, etc. for about a year and a half now. Very durable.

Some of the "brands" have cheaper batteries, and some are not rechargeable, but the CREE diode and circuitry all come form the same factory, so in general, they are all pretty much the same.

I agree, they are long lasting and long life flashlights. I use mine a ton and have yet to swap batteries yet.
