At the very least, I'm willing to toss a couple hundred rounds of .22 at this right now. See what I can scrounge up as the months go on.

Another thought: if anyone has some classroom activities that we could add this year, I'm open to ideas.
Examples last year: made a flag after studying symbology, casted wax bullets and loaded paper cartridges, etc.
An idea I'm working on is going out to the football field and recreating the British fire fields or capture the flag or something....
Teach em to fish? Proper knots, different reel and rod types, how to cast, lures, bobbers, etc?
Just one idea.
Kids love fire starting especially the more unconventional ways without matches.
Just wanted to bump again so it's fresh on peoples minds. Please start saving some .22lr and $$$ if you'd like to donate. Every little bit would help. Also, if you'd like to help out via RO/SO, etc... PM me. Dates are March 16-19, 2015.
Question updated in OP.
Thanks guys.
How much ammo do you currently have for this? How much do you think you'll need?

I have over a dozen bolt action .22 rifles we can use for this (mostly Winchester 52s and Mossberg 44USes) as well as cases of Aguila .22 LR. I won't use Remington Thunderbolt in my rifles anymore, had a really bad experience a few years ago. I can help with either RSO or instructor duties.
I'll keep an eye on this and will donate some cash when the time comes. Keep up the good work!
Current inventory is 200 rounds. We will need approx 200 per student, looking at around 40 students (won't know for sure until late Feb). 40x200= 8K
Outstanding, please keep your eyes on this thread and I'll be getting volunteer info after the Christmas holidays have passed. Curious, what is the story with Rem Thunders?
Thank you Sir.
