My conversation with them goes like this. HELLO we're, CLICK. Usually i check caller iud. Other times, it's Click. Why do people allow a call from someone they do not know, to go more than 2-3 words. Hang Up. Let the next call go to VM. If it's important, they leave a message. If not they don't.
I have to be polite on the phone all day for my job so it's kind of fun to be able to say whatever to them for once.

I've never used anyone for an annual furnace check-up.
This is the exact reason I miss having a house phone. My wife would get pissed at me cause I would keep them on the phone for an hour. I always figured if I could keep them on the phone long enough that would prevent them from scamming someone that is more vulnerable than I am.
