I do have plans to go see it in a week or two and I'm still tempted to watch it right now.

lol, I am still going to the theater with the wife to see it as well.
I'm looking forward to this one and waiting to see it on the big screen. I'm happy to hear it's good.
I wonder how many other iraq/afghanistan vets specifically avoid seeing these types of movies like I do. I was pissed off for weeks after watching about 5 minutes of the hurt locker and how ridiculous mockery hollywood can make of relatively recent events.
I saw it a couple weeks ago over the Christmas release in Dallas. Very good movie overall, one worth seeing in the theater.
Meh. I don't mind them, but they're taken with a pretty hefty grain of salt. I thought Lone Survivor was better though. But that's just like, my opinion man.
GEDIT: It is getting pretty annoying watching filmmakers constantly screwing up the tab and scroll, though.
A few of the cheapest ways to watch it at an AMC theater is
a) Matinee (before noon) - $7/person (was $5/person not too long ago)
b) Discount Tickets from King Soopers - gold tix for $8.50 and Silver tix (silver are often not accepted during the first 10-14 days after release) for $7.50
c) MoviePass - Unlimited Movies for $30/month
d) Organization Discounts - AAA, Credit Unions, etc. sometimes have discounts for members.
