For me, I basically watch GB and none of the other games and even then I DVR so I can go outside and do something and then watch the game fast on my own schedule. Once GB is out, none of the playoffs until the SB.
I don't know, but we (society) don't know how to lose. I think it really ties into the whole "protect this house" mentality that so many NFL fans have. Hostility towards each other. Towards their team. There are 32 teams all full of professionals, all with identical goals, and chances are really good (31 / 32, to be sure) that your favorite won't win the SB. When you set up a "SB or Bust" mentality (as the news had after the Broncos last night), you've largely nullified the entertainment for what it is. As it turns out, the Broncos had one of the best seasons / teams in the league, but watching the news reaction afterwards, you'd never know it. Was it a fun ride this season or not? If the answer is no, probably you shouldn't watch anymore. $0.02Quote:
