I will always have dogs. We spend a fortune providing a good life for our dogs. They pay us back by giving us love, companionship and entertainment.
This is so true for me. I lived single with 2 dogs for almost half of my life. No, I can't imagine it.Quote:

And dogs have a certain sense about people that amazes me. My neighbor has a few dogs. But my dog Mason NEVER liked this dude - and we're talking 15 years living near this guy. Mason never let him get close to him and would growl and bark at him the whole time he was around. Then the neighbor got another dog (Murphy) from a rescue place (good for him) but Murphy is the same way. Murphy won't go near him. The first time I saw Murphy he ran right up to me, sniffed me for a few seconds and then I was on one knee petting him and he was licking my face. My neighbor was like, "Huh - that's weird. He won't come near me". Yeah man, weird.
