Kanger Evod if you want something simple. I have a mechanical setup that wasn't more than $60 and make my own liquid. It costs me less than $10 per month to vape. I know it's not as good as not smoking or vaping but I feel it's a better alternative.

Now I'm kind of confused on tanks. I thought they were like $5 a piece and disposable, but these are significantly more than that. I checked out the Atlantis and from what I read, the Nautilus seems like more what I'm looking for. Why are they so expensive compared to the K1 or the ET-S tank things? (the website calls them "glassomizers" and I have no idea what that means). Also, do the cheaper K1 and ET-S thingamajigs work with the CF VV battery?

Easiest way is to go in to a good local shop. Rocky Mountian E-Cigs, Vaporleaf , hush Vapor, Vaporgate, Vapor Tech. the ones i have listed are are local to the metro and have good customer service.
Explain to them you are new and want to get started they will guide you in the right direction and you can taste the flavors before you buy them as far as a device to get started on Aspire and Kanger both make great products. If you want someone to go in with you hit me up and we can meet at the shop of your choice and discuss the different devices as far as price if you want in on-the-cheap i would say no more that $60.00 but some times you get what you pay for. I researched this for almost a year before i took the plunge but i haven't had a cigarette in 17 months.

I've been vaping since September and it got me off the real deal cigg .. I can breathe better and the whole 9 .... Now I pretty much vape for a little bit of nicotine and mostly for playing with the "clouds" I only do that at home, ( so not to annoy people in public with huge smoke clouds) I've got a sub ohm tank and 36watt power set up at works well for that . I started with the Kanger Evod stuff, and it worked super.
I only use fluids made local at my friends shop ( vaporleaf.com ) so I know they don't have anything too weird in them
as for the health issues... they use the same compounds that are used in theatrical fog machines ( minus the flavor and nicotine) and there have been many studies done on those that show no ill side effects OTHER then a slight dehydration of the throat ( mostly a problem for singers but it's not super common and a drink of water solves it)
With the atlantis tank, you will want this one (http://www.aspirecig.com/products/MOD/mod185.html), small difference in names I didn't realize. Tanks have evolved over time and new terms get coined to help distinguish from the previous product. Latest and greatest is usually more money. http://vapingfuel.com/learn/atomizing/ This kinda explains it a bit. Between the nautilus and the atlantis, the latter is a newer item, geared towards better vapor production while still being a tank. K1s and ET-s is the same as the evod and ego stuff, different name different company. It'll all interchange from one part to another for the most part, so mix and match as you please.Quote:
