My favorite (I was on mid deployment leave), standing on the corner of the exit from county line going west to park meadows.
He was wearing....
Sniper
Sapper
Airborne
Air assault
Special forces
ranger tabs over the 101st (kickin chickens [emoji5]️) patch on his right shoulder in a field jacket. In August with a 10th group patch on his left shoulder.
After exchanging some kind words, he left his corner and took his jacket off.

Charge him an extra 25% and thank him for his service! Seriously, the dweeb will think he scored big time.
It is sad really. So many of us served and were not out there killing the bad guy, SF, Ranger and on and on. I still remember my thoughts on my choice that did not always work out. Hmm, nice warm Hospital. After deployments that had me in a GP medium in 110 weather and a non-insulated shack without heat with it 20 outside....... Did my time and paid my debt. I have a co-worker. His is a box kicker E6 (supply) He has no hand after an IED hit his convoy. Has he sacrificed less because he was not SF? I think not.
The imposters just kind of annoy me unless they are trying to use it for gain. Just some thoughts from an old guy.
And here I was thinking Obama was on his way here again...
I bet that guy will dress like tranny on ladies light to pretend he is a lady to get a free/discount on a shooting range.
I almost wish prior service guys rated an Mil ID for life just to spot the fakes easier. Not everyone enrolls in the VA, IRR only lasts for a few years, not everyone stays in for 20, or medically retired, and the DD-214's are too big to carry around plus they say not for Identification right on them.
