Passports for domestic travel?

I have a sovereign citizens driver's license. I don't need no gold star.
If you have a Gay Marriage License you can travel by air...no questions axed.
Just checked my license and noticed it is expired!!!!!
9 days ago.......what do I win? A trip to the DMV.
I couldn't get through security for a flight once because my DL had expired the week before and I didn't realize it.. The TSA screener would not accept it even though it was a real license and had a photo on it that was obviously me.. He said that if I had a social security card with me that it would be a valid form of ID..
So a paper card with no photo on it and was signed by me when I was 8 years old would get me on a plane but a recently expired DL would not.
Had to go back to the airline counter where the people laughed and agreed at the idiocy behind it and stamped my ticket which got me through the additional screening line.
TSA is a joke.
Per Colorado DMV website:
What does the gold star on my driver license/instruction permit/identification card mean? The gold star in the top right corner of your driver license, instruction permit or identification card indicates that your card has been issued in compliance with the federal REAL ID Act. This card may be used as identification for federal purposes, such as boarding an aircraft or entering a federal building.
Attachment 60201
If your Colorado ID/DL does not have a gold star, and it has not has not yet expired, it can still be used as stand-alone identification to board domestic flights.
Don't have a gold star. Anyone know if a passport card is acceptable?
