I guess something similar happened at Casa Bonita back in the 80's when they accidentally used a real gorilla after no one checked to make sure they were using the fake one.

Love this guy, "Gregg stated that he was going to be OK and showed the officer the projectile that he dug out of the wound with his finger"
Reminds me of Major Payne: "It's a bullet. It's from my heart. I took it myself with my field knife."
I remember those gunfight shows from when I was a kid in OK, I always loved those! Haven't seen one in many, many years.
I'm sorry for the guys having to go through the legal process but they have a responsibility to handle their firearms safely, all the more so when they are performing in public rather than just firing alone in the woods. Things would be a 100 times worse if it had been a spectator rather than one of the performers themselves who had gotten the ricochet.
"Myers also speculated, as stated in the report, that two to four live rounds were fired into the air from his gun during the event’s parade earlier in the day, before the Marauders performed."
Umm... I don't own snap caps or blanks for this reason... HOWEVER. I think that there is a SIGNIFICANT difference between the recoil of a blank and the recoil of some "Hornady .45s" as he called em. So he just kept shooting with a cylinder of real bullets.
Infuriating stupidity.
He dug it out with his finger! Good man!
