Interesting read about the filter bubble. The reactions were fascinating. On the one side, the author lays out a pretty good case for the bubble. Then in the reactions, they start out with "a non-scientific" poll of 5 associates. He claims a diverse ideological background, but they are all associates, so there's that. So, I asked myself..."knowing what we know about Google...what is the most likely truth. Occam's razor, and all that".
It reminded me of the quote from a typical NYC elite type when the Republicans had a landslide victory. "How did they do that??? I don't know ANYONE that voted for them!" Typical bubble response.
