Also, this is why cops are so aggressive sometimes when responding to someone open carrying a rifle on the street. They have to think worst case scenario every time and not "Oh, its just some political stunt".

I think you're right. I think however, certain district courts and our news media have made police administrations heavy handed for any discipline in the ranks. Officers are becoming afraid to do their jobs, not because of what they encounter in front of them, but what the administrative review will do.

Prayers for all of us. It might not be long before there aren't any more Derek Greer's to watch over us. Even in death he's going to be serving his fellow man.
