I'm still searching for just the right (read "affordable") Colt 70 series Combat Commander in 9mm. Perfectly acceptable - even desirable - in my opinion. Variety is the spice of life.
Who cares, .45 ACP has "Stopping Power" that's what matters to me!!!!
9mm will go through the intruder and though my walls and strike a bystander in their home or driving by in a car!

Hit someone in the pinky with a .45 ACP and they're DRT. Hit someone through the heart with a 9mm and they feel winded for a few seconds. Why waste your time with a 9mm?

1911 is the platform IMHO. That's why I comsider the Sig p238&p938 as 1911 platforms just in 9mm or 380. Is an AR still an AR when it's in another caliber than 556?
Wasn't .45 banned by the Geneva conventions for being super deadly?
