Roger Moore gave the character an aristocratic air. Farewell Mr. Bond.
Wasn't my favorite Bond and felt he made the role a bit too campy for my taste. Seemed like a decent guy.
RIP Roger Moore.
I definitely enjoyed Moore as Bond, he was a very close second to Connery for me. It seems like he's the only one that really made the Bond character something different than what Connery did. Bond went from being a mans man to a ladies man and they threw in some quick witted humor for good measure.
Connery - Moore - Brosnan - Dalton - Lazenby - Craig
I've never cared for the tortured soul direction the Craig films have taken. Spectre and Quantum of Solace are the two worst films of the franchise.
Nowhere near the top of my favorite Bonds although he did a great job with "The Man with the Golden Gun" and "Live and Let Die but he was damned good as the The Saint and spoofing himself on "Cannonball Run".
He will always be my Bond because I was a child of the late 70s / early 80s, and he had all the cool gadgets. Like the little tiny jet and the Lotus submarine. Sean Connery was just some old guy in the long, talkey movies my father liked, such as Dr. No and From Russia with Love. It wasn't until I was much older that I grew to appreciate the other Bonds.
It's hard to say who my least favorite Bond is, although by the numbers, it's probably Pierce Brosnan. Goldeneye was awesome. The World Is Not Enough is one of the worst movies I've ever sat through. Tomorrow Never Dies is a close second.
