Maybe. But I’ll bet they’ll be more expensive.
Another vote for the venue being way too small for monster trucks. I have been 2 times when my son was younger. The noise they make was more impressive than the stunts or driving due to such limited space. However, kids will love it. It is LOUD. Bring ear pro for sure. !!!
Thanks, guys. We will go for sure based on your recommendations.
I went a few years ago with the kiddos. They LOVED it but I just kept shaking my head the whole time thinking how awesome it could have been if they took it to Mile High in the summer. Pepsi is just way too small for it. It is basically a static display with lots of noise, just not enough room to really get going.
It is WAAAAAY overpriced for what you get, but I highly recommend doing it once. Better bet may be to travel to a show at a larger venue. I think they do them a lot in Houston, Vegas, Detroit, etc.
I saw monster trucks at the Colosseum years ago, bigger venue than Pepsi Center, but not quite large enough. It would be better if Kroenke put it at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. We went last year in FL with my sisters-in-law where the Orlando MLS team plays, it was large enough for a REAL Monster Jam. They just can't get enough out of a small course, IMHO.
In Victor they have a gold mine with 300 ton trucks. The tires are 14 foot tall. When they dump a load of ore, you can hear it for miles away. You have to watch with binoculars. It is free. Lots of nice surrounding forest too!

Tickets purchased. Family of four was $127 for decent seats, second tier.
One tractor trailer rig can haul two tires with wheels. You need a fleet of trucks as it is moved in pieces. The engine drives a huge generator, each wheel has a huge electric motor.
