More Blue State Taxes in Taxorado

This is especially irritating seeing as it's tax season and I'm acutely aware of how much of my paycheck is already going towards these idiots.

If it makes you guys feel any better, DIA was #4 in the US for most firearms in luggage in 2017.

This. If you want this kind of leave (whether you expect to need it or not), pay for it yourself through insurance. My wife had 6 weeks of STD for having our little girl. But we paid for the insurance - it wasn't stolen from someone else by government mandate.

$46 out of every paycheck I get? I think not. Life requires responsibility. If you don't have money for your time off work, that's your own freaking problem. I had to take a few months off last year for surgery and I had money on hand to do so. I didn't get paid by my employer or by anyone else. Why should every one else have to foot the bill? That's $186 a month.

If that's the case, I demand a 10% cost of living raise.

My wife and I are over 55, make pretty good money and without kids so we already take it up the backside on taxes.
