Their father fled Mexico to keep them from getting folded into the cartels and the violence that has been going on there for 20 years. Its a great example of a reason to have a 2a. His family would have been shot for saying no. If he even tried to say no. We are being fooled here if anyone doesn't think we need a way for normal people to protect themselves. The cops will protect you. Right, the police are the first that are bought off or killed. They are legal enforcers.

I take personal offense at your last sentence.. Perhaps you'd like to enlighten us how you know this first hand? Surely you would not have said it if there was no way to back it up with first hand knowledge and documents you're in possession of.

Yes the cops in Mexico. Those are your only protection in Mexico and they are bent AF. Just from what I've heard. Although, I do hear about people getting a shakedown by the cops. They catch you drinking in public or whatever and they arrest you unless you offer them $40 for his family. Its worse for the gringos on vacation. But a buddy of mine told me how he was chased down and handed his wallet over to the cops and they took it and left.
The cops here better not get like this or I will protest in the streets. But I was referring to the Mexican Nation. Its a real bad place.

But I was saying that is how the police are there according the people that live there. But if we spiral down into a hole of shit like they got. The cartel will buy the police or kill them. Just like they do with politicians and judges. Nobody can have a gun and if they are caught without the proper connections you are screwed.
