I could go on and on about the different tech related companies that support gun control, if you boycotted them all, you would have little or no tech.
One day, I will be tech free, but for now its which that feeds the family
In all fairness the first app I tried to get approved was denied about 10 times before it got in. It wasn't anything I was doing personally, was built for the company I worked for. They were denying us for things being one pixel to the left or a slight shade of red too dark. Eventually some VP at our company called some VP at apple they knew and it got approved. They're apparently better about it these days ... that was like 8-9 years ago.
I am an Apple fan (not a fanboy). That said, I have never bought new from Apple. I've bought refurbished from a local shop, refurb from eBay or from people on this board. That said, I started with PC based 'puters. Worked at the #1 pc company.
At the end of the day, Mac works for me.
Showing their ass on the 2A, very sad. I don't get why corps have to now come down on party lines. I hope all get bit in the ass.
Our APP developer had plenty of other client APPS already in I-Tunes.
Our APP was already in GOOGLE-PLAY.
The first couple of interactions were about technical details, and we cleared those hurdles.
When the response went to "NO" without any sort of way ahead the developer called me.
We pressed hard for some answers and then the APPLE people called my desk to explain how they were NOT anti 2A, but to STOP asking to be on I-Tunes.
Of course we just waited them out, and now we have an I-Tunes APP.
However, you cannot buy thru it directly, like with our GOOGLE-PLAY APP.
Its a small victory, and I hope to improve in the future.

Even Steam can't get an app into the app store.
