some coverages don't automatically kick in. I've seen it take some time depending on the agency. Mainly it would be for LODD where the family loses a significant form of income. Generally the officer is still earning pay, as stated above, while injured.Quote:

Things have gotten better. But our immigration courts are a joke. They act about how backlogged they are, but I personally had a chance to hang around the courtrooms for the Denver Fed courthouse. In any given week they seemed to only actually have judges there seeing cases 2-3 times a week and 2-3 cases each tops in a day.
Saw one guy for deportation proceedings get told his case was delayed/rescheduled..... 2 years from that day.
