And what are the Dealers supposed to do with the merchandise?
They don't care about those capitalist death-dealing pigdogs. If they had their druthers, they'd probably make them destroy them. As it is, they are probably leaving them to swing in the breeze and figure it out for themselves. Maybe their distributors will take the majority of them off their hands?
This is all conjecture on my part, as I have no facts or sources to back it up. [mop]
Who cares? They couldn't wait to fall in line before the ban...

On Monday, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said her government will detail changes to the country's gun laws in the next week.
Several gun stores and online sellers in New Zealand announced they have pulled military-style semi-automatic firearms from their shelves.
Andrew Taylor, an owner of Shooters Supplies, a store in Christchurch that sells firearms and accessories, says he has been receiving many calls since Friday asking to buy semi-automatic weapons.
Taylor says he has had to turn down shoppers asking for high-capacity magazines, which enable guns to shoot far more bullets than they are designed for.
"Anyone can buy those magazines. They're just not allowed to put them in their gun. But if they do, what can we do?" Taylor says.
"So we've pulled the sales of those. And we've pulled the sales of all AR platform guns until we hear further from police or the government as to what we are supposed to do."
In contrast to the shoppers, local?media have reported?that some gun owners have turned over their semi-automatic weapons to the authorities.
It was a rhetorical question, all ready knew the answer...

My brain hurts. This Taylor must be a real expert. [dig]
Sounds like they're changing shot out barrels mid-mag.
Those guys would probably love to have a cheap Bear Creek Arsenal barrel. I bet you could make it through at least a couple of magazines before it was shot out.

It's their country, they can do as they please. The general populace seems to be okay with it. They reap whatever they sow.Quote:
One of New Zealand's largest gun retailers, Hunting & Fishing New Zealand, said it supports "any government measure to permanently ban such weapons."
"While we have sold them in the past to a small number of customers, last week's events have forced a reconsideration that has led us to believe such weapons of war have no place in our business — or our country," chief executive Darren Jacobs said in a statement.
Why aren't they banning the shotgun and lever action rifle he used in the shooting?
