Dang it ! I was going to ask you what is was contaminated with to see if would have worked in a flamethrower.....
Actually, I was hoping to see an answer.
I had a boat with 12 year old fuel and called all the marine service folks in town.
No one would empty the tank and dispose of the fuel.
I ended up pouring a lot of STA-BIL into the tank and running around the lake until it was down to about 10% of the tank.
Smoke, uh-huh! Probably not too good for the 2-stroke engine.
Got any weeds around the house?
I just pour stale fuel into the oil drain barrels here at the shop. No issues with the oil recycler, as long as there is no chlorinated hydrocarbons.
That's what I did. We added it to some used motor oil and a local auto parts store took it. It helped there wasn't as much in the tank as I'd estimated.Quote:
