For who? Me, her or the date?

The date mostly I suppose. Lol.
If your marriage was for less than three years and/or there are no children involved, I don't believe so. I went through this fairly recently in Colorado. The final decree isn't a year old yet. My take is that it depends on how "amicable" the situation is. I listed my guns, tools, and some higher end camping gear. She listed jewelry, antiques, and photographic equipment. The judge asked us a few questions and if we were satisfied with each others responses. We had pretty much gone through our financial statements together and knew what each other had listed.
If you are still on friendly terms I suggest you do the best you can. As stated earlier, nothing good will come if you do less.
Thanks for all the replies. I’m hoping this comes down to the receptionist who forwarded me the “forms.” Sent the wrong one. I asked to for a call back from the attorney and not “her.” We will see how it goes.
For those inquiring, yes, I’d rather be back with her, but doesn’t seem to be a possibility, and yes, we get along great with no fighting issues at all. So over all, the best of a shit situation.
when i got divorced her attorney wanted to see a list of assets. I sent them a milk carton with her picture on it. ;)
I lived with an ex for 3.5 months after we broke up amiably until the lease expired
Financially it was the sound option for both of us.
I was told I was prettier than her new dates by the neighbor lady.
After Jeff BOZO divorce, we were thinking about agreement whereas if someone do stupid shit that leads to a divorce only gets 5% of the total asset.
Whatever happens, I wish you luck. Can't really say it's a good thing, but sometimes it's the better option. Hard to say.
I don't like these threads.

I'm guessing there was not a prenuptial agreement.
