Government at every level is shutting down, all buildings closed and off limits. The city, county, state and federal sectors closed to public interaction. Law enforcement by internet, trials by remote conference, prosecutorial actions pled or postponed. Jails are being emptied.
Take a vacation, work at home in your pajamas, go fishing, make the best of it. Isolation and social distancing is the mandate. Even health care providers are shut down. Everyone except grocery store workers of course, for now. Just keep laughing about the TP hoarders, until you run out.
Whoever or whatever is to blame and no matter what transpires, if you haven't prepared for long term independent survival you're in deep trouble with scant options left.
Take solace if you can because we are nowhere close to the desperate level of survival and imminent extinction that our native wildlife populations are experiencing.
The mayor of Tucson has decided to close restaurants and bars/breweries through the month of March, as of 8pm tonight. We went to a local brewery earlier, and apparently (according to our server), one of the founders was on the phone with his attorney's all afternoon trying to figure out a work around. Apparently it's a misdemeanor to disobey the order, and he was contemplating giving the mayor a middle finger. I'll be going back.Quote:
