I forgot... I did live in a little place right on the West bank of the Missouri River. Nice and isolated with the center of a 1/2 mile long and 100' high dirt bluff directly across the river from my place.
I used to shoot at stuff (logs and such) floating down the river with a Mini-14. I tried to perfect a technique of shooting off the surface of the river to hit rocks and stumps on the bluff on the opposite side. Never worked consistently, though...too many variables.
Caught lots of good catfish there, too.
