free parking hacks/tips/tricks near DEN?

Nothing free around there, those are almost all metered.

That is why I asked where he was going and for how long.

He was likely talking about the airport anyway and many missed it when he wrote DEN instead of DIA, which is how most civilians refer to it.

Run the parking payment ticket magnetic strip between two rare earth magnets. Hit the call button when the ticket dosent process, most of the time the attendant will just let you through.

Downtown? Get a handicapped tag or placard, or borrow one. Parking's free to gimps.

Airport? Sorry, we NEVER park out there, it's much too expensive and a huge PITA. But when we HAVE to, we just roam the garages by the terminal, you can always find a spot - somewhere. Take a photo or two of the location with your phone. The outlying lots? Hell no.

So a guy from Ft Morgan with 53 posts in the past 14 years asks a question, garnering 13 responses, but hasn't been on the forum since he asked....

I stay away from downtown as well. Good pho place across from courthouse though. Well decent I guess. Took awhile. Which is weird for pho

But ya, I love flyin g frontier but it?s this mental block where it?s more expensive to park vs the actual airfare one way sometimes. Then you have car rentals on the other end sometimes?

I used to live on western slope, then moved away for 4-6 years. Then came back in 2018 or so to the Far East. Need to go visit o ut west again if someone has a plane, ����I’ll buy lunch

One "trick" I had used in the past is to do a one day car rental with free drop off at the airport.
For a 3 week trip it was the cheapest way to get to the airport without taxi fees or parking.
