Ouch, that's pretty loose. I've noticed that I can easily adjust the pull on the Spartan, but it seems to loosen on it's own pretty easy and fast. It's not loose enough to fall out when running, but if I fell down a flight of stairs it might (that is checking the tension right now). I might look into using some low level lock tight on it.
You couldn't give a Fobus, not even for free.
FBI canted holsters are nice for carry, but they suck ass for competition. They suck ass for drawing from period compared to a verticle holster.
I noticed a few of the faster shooters had rigs that were OWB and kind of in between a leg drop and a standard belt mount. It was like a belt drop holster, so it was a little lower than the belt, but well above the thigh. They looked pretty comfortable and speedy to me. Friday do you ever do any matches north of Castle Rock?

I had a fobus, I did not like it.
I'm glad I asked. I see a ton of people with all Kydex OWB holsters and just assume they are all Fobus and that they are all happy with them.
i have one.. but i like my blackhawk serpa holster better...
cant really comment on how well it would work for competition.
You should post on here more often Kwando. I never see you around anymore. Also, I just need something to hold the gun since I don't have a holster at all, I'm not in any danger of being a threat at any matches at this point in time.
