No but I feel like the kid who just turned 21 and gets all giddy thinking someone might ask to see their ID.... except it never happens. I have have all of them saved digital in my Google Drive account for quick access at any and all times. Being as I've got over $5k in tax stamps I'd love the opportunity to show them off. Never happened, likely never will. Then again, I avoid indoor ranges like the plague itself anymore so I can't think of many instances where I'd get the opportunity unless it's en route to the middle of nowhere.

Is anyone confident that they would even know what they were looking at if you showed them the documents? Let alone know to ask for them or if they even knew about NFA items. Is that covered in their “Extensive’” training?
You can buy pre-owned NFA tax stamps on eBay. Most people wouldn't know the difference.
I shoot regularly at Liberty Arms in Johnstown and always have at least one can with me. No one has ever asked me to show paperwork.
One time. I was a kid at the time. We were up at Rampart Range shooting a full auto and a fella wanted to see the paperwork. This guy was some sort of city or county law enforcement in another state, way out of his jurisdiction and had no authority to demand anything. Dad said he was just showing off to his buddies. He also told me the guy had never seen a stamp before and didn't know what he was looking at.
It wasn't worth embarrassing the guy by refusing, or the potential time-sink that may have caused. I remember my dad talking to him a little, showing him the paperwork and walking him through how to read it. At the end dad pointed out that the guy never verified the person on the stamp was the same person he was talking to.
No one of legitimate authority has ever requested to see my paperwork. I, personally, have shown people my paperwork because they were simply curious what the form looks like. Which then leads into a quick discussion of the process and costs involved.
