I even buy American cars! Well you have to have a truck and an SUV both with V8’s after growing up with tiny English carsJ
My AR-15 is also a Colt, can’t get any more American than that! Plus it didn’t come with bi-lingual instructions.
I speak reasonable Spanish. I picked it up from years of working in construction. Typically, the trades which require licensing at a state level (plumbers and electricians) will be entirely English speaking. Every other trade seems to be dominated by Mexicans or eastern Europeans. The Bosnians, Slavs, Ukranians, etc. seem to learn English pretty quickly as do the Mexicans who came here LEGALLY. It is the vast numbers of illegals who fail to learn the language here. Unfortunately the government is focusing on only half of the problem. If there was no one hiring guys without proper documentation, there would be little reason for them to come here.
Just to be clear, I have no beef with Mexicans due to their ethnicity. As I stated previously, I have worked with a bunch of them over the years and these guys are damn hard workers who simply want to provide a better life for their families. Hell, if I came from a country where I had no future, I'd bug out for greener pastures too. When I got there though I damn sure wouldn't expect them to provide everything in English just for my benefit. I'd learn the language. Just makes sense.
