i might be able to get away with that! but I'm 400 miles away from home than if I'm correct another 215 miles away from the shoot so I'm looking at a shit ton of gas, being in college i don't really have the funds to afford to shoot anything there to begin with! Seriously, it's a great time! I'm thinking about it, but it cost me a buttload o' cash when the grandson and I went in '08. Most of it spent on him, of course. But how many 11 year olds get to shoot an M2HB, a Maxim, an AK47, two MP5's, twin 1919's, and I can't even remember what else.

I'm tempted to go and take my wife with but all this talk about needing to take thousands in cash to have a good time is scaring me off. If it's too much I'll just put the money towards a firearm that I can keep. Won't be FA but it will be mine whenever I want to shoot it.
It is generally like $20 per mag to shoot a FA. I paid $10 to shoot a full mag out of a regular ole HK handgun, but it was suppressed. Then I paid another $10 to shoot a full mag out of a suppressed Mac-10. Then I paid $5 to shoot a Barrett (one shot) and another $5 for a shined up .50 BMG with a punched primer and seated bullet.
I will have a spot on the line, and Marlin is going to send me the COAR flag, look for it. This is my pay it forward. The first ten people that bring me this post printed out can shoot a mag thru my FA Uzi or M-16 (suppressed if you like) OR three rounds thru my Barrett Light Fifty (APIT or blue-tip incindiary, tracer ban dependant) for FREE. I want to see more COAR folks out there, esp. those wanting to wade into the world of NFA. Come on out, you won't be disappointed.
