I saw a news story showing a lady running around gaming stores and getting like $100 of stuff for like under $5. It looked like a bunch of shit like Gatorade and crap that you wouldn't buy on a budget anyway though.
We do use coupons and it works well, especially, like everyone already said, once you get into the groove of it. I don't help with the coupons personally, but I do save all the ones I see because I know they are appreciated and have a strong chance of being used.

I love those $4 off a carton of smokes coupons. I use those whenever I get them. That takes a small chunk off of cigarettes. I usually throw out the mailers that I get stuffed into the mailbox. I do like a deal but I don't really clip coupons, it would just confuse me into thinking I have money.
Coupons are good way to go because something I see .50 off something that's $2.00 that's a good deal if you can remember to bring the coupon when you shop. They offer those deals expecting most people won't take them up on the offer.
I have clipped coupons and joined the saver club for places like sportsmanguide so I could get deals on ammo and such. It was fun while it lasted and I saved on normal everyday items like ammo and gun related stuff.
