get yourself a treadmill and watch whatever TV you want on the treadmill. make it a routine, one that you stick to.
also make a limit on the amount of pop you intake daily.
To get back to the level I like to be at I do. I like to lift heavy while keeping it at a fast pace but I also do alot of cardio. B-ball, treadmill, bike, stair stepper, and my gym has an indoor track. Being able to throw a beating is useless if you cant catch the guy. Yesterday was my first day back at the gym and I hit it HARD! Even after creatine and protien supplements I was raiding the fridge for left over steak and ham every 3 hours all night. Now this morning its drinking my egg whites and creatine but I feel better then I have in months [Weight] As soon as the wife gets off work its back to do a serious cardio day.
I did want to save money and go with a home setup, but i dont have the room for everything and the cost of getting setup would have been so high up front it was easier to just go to the gym.
I looked into a couple city programs and they would cost me the same as the commercial gym but with more limited hours. CSU I am told has a good gym and they have students majoring in that stuff work the gym to help you out. I was told it was'nt that expensive either. I would have liked to try it but the hours and location would have been hard on my 4 days I work.
