Is it durable? Will it peel?
Don't know yet, only time will tell. It will also be covered with a satin clear coat. Seems pretty durable though.
I have the same question as a few already, but, is it going to last? Peeling seems like something that would easily happen. What does it say in the kit about how durable it is? I looked on their site and I think the desert digital would look great on the lower portion of my MK23. But I have to know if it is a good product so info from someone with first hand experience would be great.
I think it will be fairly durable if prepped properly and a clear coat is used. It also says to let the camo and clear coat cure for 14 days for the most durability. The activator is an etching compound to help the print adhere and become permanent. As far as peeling, it is a print process called hydrographing. Burris uses a similar process on their camo scopes. In my experience with these scopes, it is pretty durable. No peeling seen yet. It will chip, but so will paint.
Looks pretty trick. We will need an update of durability. Was it pretty easy?
It wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard either. It was time consuming and prep is everything.
Looks like the decals that I used to put on my airplane and car models when I was a kid. Just a much bigger decal.
