The slight wobble weally doesn't effect anything, but I guess it's a peace of mind thing. I made my own wedge by cutting a "L" shaped chunk of rubber off an old hard recoil pad.

I have modded lowers by drilling and tapping for a nylon tipped setscrew that when adjusted just contacts the pin boss of the upper- it does help but the Accuwedge is a pure drop in that works ok. The only drawback to them is they can make it almost too tight of a fit and can be a bear to get the pin in when they are new. After a few mags have been run they will loosen up a touch.
Unless the play is excessive I would not be too worried about it.
JP product works great for me.
