Steve, good for you!! Nice to see the little folks win at least once in while. From now on you had better consider only transporting that BP cannon securely covered with a tarp of some type.
What agency did the officer work for? Asking for curiosity's sake...
Douglas County Sheriff.
I sincerely hope I never see him again. With any luck he'll cool down and get on with the rest of his life. From the way he was acting I have visions of him out there right now sawing down the 55 signs. I was surprised it ended up in a trial. I was quite ready to let him rewrite the ticket, sign and pay.
Steve
Nah. If you are right, you are right and should stand up for yourself. It is admirable to be willing to accept a lower speed citation, but he needs to be aware of the speed limits and zones if he is going to run traffic.
Congrats, by the way!
Damn shame. One bad cop ruins it for all the decent ones.
I have some Cop and Sheriff friends, And you can pick up all kinds of stuff on how to beat tickets. It's pays to have friends!!
Aurora PD was actually kinda cool with me today.
I hit, of all things... a rolling Christmas Tree. [Eek3]
He had stopped to get the tree out of the highway, saw me pulled over and came up to check on me.
+1 for good guys
