Obama birth certificate released

Well after 3+ years I think he can come up with a pretty good forgery of such.
I mean he has now met all the POWERFUL crooks in the US.

Timing. Now no one can throw out the argument about him not being born here, the document is in the public domain for anyone to see.. It wasn't an issue till he took office, and since he is going to run for re-election he is getting it out of the way first.

Hell it wouldn't require that.

As a professional graphic designer I could fake a birth certificate from the early 60s well enough to fool all but the best forensic document examiners. Photoshop rules.

Again I suspect that he was born in Hawaii but he kept the controversy alive because he gained from it politically ... he and his handlers have done the calculations and figure it helps him more now to end the controversy than to keep it going (I don't understand their calculus here ... I thought he was still getting good traction against Republicans with the whole "birther" label).

I think they made a gross miscalculation and they've just thrown away one of their best bludgeons.

I'm pretty sure, that even with my extremely limited resources, I could come up with a birth certificate for my self from any/all 50 states, as well as several foreign countries in the space of 3 years. This does nothing to dispell my theory that Mr. Obama is a plant, put in place by China/North Korea/Iran/Saudi Arabia, for the sole purpose of destroying the US culturally and economically.

I think Zundfolge nailed it. It allowed many opponents to waste time on this and appear nutters to the more moderate voters he needed. Personally I think if he had been foreign born Hillary would have dug it out. Mud is the Clinton's specialty and I don't believe she was running for Secretary of State. She wanted it all and a sick goat could have beat McCain.

I think if people wanted dirt they should have focused on his time in Chicago. Not hanging out with terrorists but with politicians. I lived there long ago and that is a totally corrupt city. Honest politicians are marginalized and mocked but he was somewhat successful. Even if he never took a bribe he was in the room when bad things happened.

You would think the government should be able to forge a legal document faster than 2 years. I think it's a joke, it should have been available to the public immediately. Period. No questions asked.

Forgery is extremely easy. Lining up some public officials to swear by it, making sure you don't leave any footprint in the public database might take roughly 2 1/2 years. [Tooth]

I think the 30% of the voters (the right) won't change their mind anyway. I would focus on his record in economy, tarp, bailouts, Libya, immigration and so on to win the middle's votes
